Family Entertainer at Roseworthy

The owners of this Roseworthy property wanted a family pool the whole household could use, with easy entry for younger swimmers and somewhere for adults to sit and relax at the deep end. The pool needed to be in the ground and swim ready well before summer, leaving the owners time to complete the paving and landscaping around it themselves ahead of the swim season.

The 7x4m Malibu shell was set out and excavated, with the steel frame walls stood, braced and locked into position on a compacted base. A concrete bond beam was poured and finished around the top of the walls, leaving a level, structural edge ready for the owners' choice of coping. The floor base was screeded smooth before the AquaLux liner was fitted, with the 3 step Cascade entry and both deep end corner swimouts formed cleanly into the shell. From setout to a filled, swimmable pool took 5 days.

Filled and running, the Lindeman liner gives the water a bright, clean blue that suits the open Roseworthy setting. The Cascade entry reads clearly through the water at the shallow end, with the corner swimouts marking out the deep end at 1.6m. The Mineral X low TDS filtration system with pH doser keeps water care simple, and the 15kW inverter heat pump will stretch the family's swim season at both ends.
