Adelaide Hybrid Pools, formerly Pleasure Pools, came away with three awards at the 2026 South Australia SPASA Awards of Excellence, held on Saturday 27 June at the Amora Hotel Adelaide (formerly the Hilton Adelaide), including Best Vinyl-Lined Pool Builder SA. The awards recognise more than two decades of building vinyl-lined pools across South Australia, and the team carrying that work forward.
Three awards on the night
Adelaide Hybrid Pools was recognised in three categories at the 2026 SPASA SA Awards:
- Best Vinyl-Lined Pool Builder SA
- Vinyl-Lined Inground Pool SA, Gold
- Rising Star Award, Dante Maur
The Best Vinyl-Lined Pool Builder category is open to businesses operating for at least five years, and recognises excellence in design, workmanship, customer service, installation and professionalism.
The Gold award for a vinyl-lined inground pool reflects the standard held on every build. You can see more of this work on the vinyl-lined pools page.
Rising Star Award, Dante Maur
Dante Maur was named the 2026 SPASA Rising Star, an award that recognises emerging talent in the pool and spa industry. Dante has completed his Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Building through SPASA, and represents the third generation of the family in the business.
From Pleasure Pools to Adelaide Hybrid Pools
The business began as Pleasure Pools in 1997 and now builds as Adelaide Hybrid Pools. The name has changed; the family, the team and the standards behind it have not. These awards were entered under Pleasure Pools, and they belong to everyone who has been part of the business, including the next generation now coming through.
