Hills Revival at Crafers

The owners of this established Crafers property had an ageing kidney-shaped fibreglass pool that had deteriorated beyond repair. The fibreglass surface was peeling and the pool was well past its usable life. They wanted a complete transformation - converting the existing fibreglass shell to a vinyl liner to restore the pool to a premium standard without the cost and disruption of a full rebuild.

Adelaide Hybrid Pools completed this renovation in two stages across a 10m x 4.5m kidney-shaped pool. The first stage involved preparing the existing fibreglass shell for the new liner - stripping back the deteriorated surface, measuring and photographing the pool, and having the shell drawn in 3D to ensure a precision-fit liner. The custom liner was then fabricated and installed in the second stage, with depths ranging from 1m to 1.8m.

The Aqualux vinyl liner in Bahama delivers a vibrant blue tone and a smooth, low-maintenance surface across the full kidney shape. Filtration runs through a 25 inch sand filter paired with a Mineral Fresh chlorination system and pH doser for automated water quality management. A Dolphin robotic auto pool cleaner handles floor and wall cleaning.
