Plunge of Opulence at Manningham

The customer wanted a compact plunge pool that delivered on both form and function. They were after a high-quality hybrid vinyl-lined pool with clean lines and premium detailing - built to complement a refined outdoor space finished with wet-lay travertine and glass fencing.

Every detail across this 3.3m x 2.2m build was executed with precision. The steel frame was squared and levelled before the lower bond beam, step entry, and swimouts were concreted in place. A dedicated slab was prepped and poured to house the filtration system and acoustic enclosure, protecting the equipment from the elements and reducing noise - with external provision allowed for the heat pump. The 150mm concrete pad was screeded to surrounding levels and trowelled flat for seamless wet-lay travertine installation, with a 200mm thickened perimeter edge to accommodate glass fencing spigots. Concrete around the skimmer box was recessed to allow flush installation of the V-Lock hideaway skimmer lid - no chipping or jack hammering required.
